given your requirements and enough space I would take the Beocenter 9500. It has everything and the weak point of later Beocenters or Beosound systems is the missing amplifier for your passive speakers. You would need an additional beolink passive which just adds another unit to your shelf. If the speakers are not important I´d go for a Ouverture

An upgraded BC2 would just be wonderful - or even better a BS5/BM5 Combination that can do video streaming/recording as well. For the time being I am happy with my HD Sat receiver (Technisat) with PVR harddisk and Pioneer BluRay all controled via PUC and hidden in the cabinet.

bigger is better if the room and so distance is big enough and you have enough space to place a huge TV. My favourite would be a BV7-55 but I simple miss space and wife´s understanding for it ;-) so I have a BV8-40 and like it a lot.

The link of B&O to a normal AMP is no problem if this AMP has a pre-amp output. I had this for a while before investing in full B&O setup. You just need a RCA to DIN cable and setup the speakers in LINE mode. I have the BL3 speakers in a somehow similar room and like them a lot. Chris, I have a setup with BV8-40 and 2 BL3. The BL3 are 4m and 7m from the sofa. The distance (delay and volume) can be set up easily in the sound settings. But I would be concerned in missing a center speaker in your setup. In my case the BV8 internal speakers act as Center. Setting Speaker to 2 (instead of 3) misses quality and understandability

Hallo Forum Ich habe bzw möchte folgendes Setup: BV8-40, BS3200 mit BL3. Dazu Beoport an meinem iMac (definiert als PC), der über Linkplayer (2-Wege BM-Link) kommuniziert. In einem Linkraum habe ich einen Toshiba LCD und möchte dessen Sound nun in mein ML Netz einspeisen. Wie kann ich das tun? Der BL Aktiv hat ja einen Audioeingang, der
