I would consider something better than Beovox 1s for the bedroom. Beolab 4000s spring to mind. You won't need the amplifier then.

Jandyt: Please pardon my ignorance, but surely, you can put it in option 2, then set your timer, then put it back in option 1 or 0. Andy T. The problem with normal Option 0 is that the transceiver is switched off. Ignace has the correct suggestion though getting the software could be tricky. It should still be available but they seem to have emptied

B&O are very secretive about this sort of information - they have also been re-organised several times and I guess they probably have thrown away quite a few records! They certainly don't have many manuals left!

Welcome to Beoworld. You have a very similar system to me! The problem you have with this set up is that the AV9000 can only be a master and not a slave. No doubt the Avant is set up as a slave. There is not an easy answer to this. I have the AV9000 set up as a non linked set. It is only the AV9000 that has this restriction - probably no-one thought

Pretty sure you need a dealer to do this. The screen uses a different Panasonic remote during set up - I do have the Mk2 service manual but it will be useless without either the remote or the software tool.

Well you could put them all to Option 1 but you will need to use the AV key a fair bit. You could use a MCL2A with IT transceiver as just a control mechanism - maybe set as option 4 so it doesn't interfere with normal operations. Seems a bit expensive!

Most software changes are to correct small errors and allow newer equipment to be connected. Have you any thing that the TVs won't do? If not, I would leave well alone! I don't play around with TVs as the voltages inside can be lethal!

That should work the way you want. Certainly I can listen to music on my LX6000 without the screen being on with the source being oin the main room. I use the internal speakers but Beolabs should be fine attached to the Powerlink sockets.
