It means you can have the advantage of the speakers attached to the Avant but retain two way communication with the Beolink 7000. You will get source and track info and still be able to do some programming I suppose.

I think so - the problem with the BC2 is knowing when you have pressed a button! The red light does flash but an acoustic feedback like the Beo5 would be perfect.

Stop being grouchy the pair of you! It is nearly Christmas! I do think my Beolab 3s improved in the first few weeks but I am perfectly happy to accept that I got used to them. I do remember getting a second hand pair of S60s which sounded dreadful which improved massively after a good shake out with some Rolling Stones! I guess one driver had been sticking

Some nice person has sent me this! Service S/W - operation with BL 7000 Beomaster 7000, Type 234x A service software, version 1.3, for Beomaster 7000 has now been released. The newest BC2 has a small speaker built into the PCB so that you get the acoustic feedback. It is possible to upgrade older models - don't ask me how old!! You also have to update both socket and master units to S/W 5.10a . Manual going on site!

Powerlink on both these will be an output - so nothing. A 7 pin DIN with connect them (Audio Aux).

You now have a Mk2! I'll see if I can get the service manual but essentially it has new software and a speaker built in for the feedback - seems a good idea to me!
