Try Conrad.fr they have a whole range of transformers - someone might know the output voltage / amperage so comparing size with dims of a new unit would probably come up with somthing! t

you talking of the later 4000 with twin tape units if so designed to run passive speakers also has input facilities to plug in a cd player however the whole thing is manual control ie no remote capability cheers T

Anyone watch the Wycliffe re runs over the weekend on ITV3 - 22 August 2009 - from around 1997 I think - saturday night around 8pm - one of the DI's was in his flat and in the corner was a white MX (probably 5500(?) on a stand c/w a vcr - fleeting glimpse/shot - a bit out of character I thought! Also in the film 'About a boy' Huge Grant
