I had my BV10 updated to the newest software yesterday, and it did take away some of the clouding. Clearly less of it now, I mentioned the "cooling" set to the tech guy, he had never heard of such a thing.

That sucks Andy, sorry to hear this. Hopefully you won't take a loss, and perhaps can re-buy the stuff in the near future!

I've been monitoring mine closely the last few days, and it seems to have two lighter spots when the screen is dark, they are at 12 o'clock, about 10-20cm in diameter... I will talk about this to my dealer. I'm not too keen on the idea of having my brand new TV off for repairs for weeks... Otherwise I love the TV, startup is a bit slow though
