Oh, I don't know 355f, perhaps the poor guy has a house or room in which it is doo difficult, or undesireable, to properly manage the ambient light levels to the extent needed for a projector/beamer. For instance almost any waterfront property built in the last generation for instance. Not that B&O's clients can afford that kind of home

I have to agree with Trip here: the BeoLab 5's are an excellent value in their market segment. I'll disagree with Trip now: I think the BeoLab 9's are also an excellent value. I simply cannot imagine anyone who could afford an M-B AMG S63 looking at the McLaren SLR and saying, "Oh, well that's simply not worth it!" "Can

Well, I don't know about the house, but I've already sent an email asking Annie Malarborn to marry me. I think I have my priorities in order here, Russ

Hi Moxxey, I'm on your side here. My point was to take issue with those who seem to feel that the Televisions have recently gone 'out of reach' for the common man. I think it only reasonable to consider pieces for which there is some close analog between the current line and the older ones. As others here have mentioned, there really are

casdave: Seems to me that B&O are aiming for a significantly differant market. If you look at, say, a set of Pentas, then it would have taken me around 6 months to save for them - when they were new, nowadays it would take much longer for Lab5s. You could look at the same thing for almost any B&O product, MX or LX tv, how many hours of work

Depending on your pre/pro, the preferred setup would be Aux output from the BS-9000 into the CD input on the pre/pro. Then Pre-amp output from the pre/pro via RCA/Phono cable directly into the line input on the BeoLab 8000's. In this case the 9000 simply becomes another source for the pre/pro tp select, and the pre/pro sees the 8000's as a pair

Well, take a couple of days off, and look what I return too! I imagine that Trip has been hoping for the cavalry to ride over the hilltop for days now! ;-) I'm not sure about saving him, but I can't let him just swing in the wind. Some of his language has been a bit harsh, but melodrama, theatricality, and sarcasm are all difficult to pass along

Start in iPhoto. Check the 'Share' menu first, and if that doen't get you what you want go to the 'File' menu and click 'export'. Russ

I think Trip was being humorous.

Well I for one see this from a somewhat different perspective. To Bingo and all the 'Cut Pricee!' fanatics here on BeoWorld, I say that this is a shot directly across your bow. If Samsung and Armani feel that they can create a prestige product with a little badge engineering, and charge a premium for it then indeed Bang & Olufsen may be
