It comes in funky colours too...

Hi everyone, Stupid question of the day : how to switch on/off some settins of the service menu (BV8 40) : I want to try switching off film mode, its set on 001, but I can't change the setting neither with the Beo4 arrows nor with the keypad? Thanks!

Hi David, As I said, it's only when using the DVB-HD tuner, not the analog tuner, just make sure that you're digital... And if yes, I must ask you the usual question : what's your SW version?? (my BV8 is from august and had this timer image when I tested it at dealers and at home (it was just a test as I use a satellite STB for TV)... Maybe
-
This is totally awesome and makes B&Os TVs looks like cheap crap when turned on (the timer logo is particularly awful). The best way to fix that would be that B&O releases a firmware update which shortens the boot time of the DVB HD module, but maybe that's just wishful thinking... An "temporary" way to fix it would be to modify

It can play standard DVDs. No support of DviX or JPEG files, but no problem with DVDs...
