I'd like 37 or 40 in screen. Enough high quality inputs and IR blasters to support a) STB b) DVD c) AppleTV and gaming console + one more just in case). MasterLink. Surround Sound as an *option* (I don't want surround sound, but I can see why others would). Great speakers (good enough so that external speakers are not necessary for casual listening

bumble: 6270302 - DIN to 2x RCA. May need a ground isolator - PC input can be a bit noisier than PL... Best, Bumble Are you sure? I have tried this cable, and I get audio on only one channel. This thread says the correct cable is a "PC Input Adapter". http://forum.beoworld.org/forums/post/89453.aspx I am trying to track one of these down.

j0hnbarker: Thanks Affineur It's really pleasing to see how many people have taken the time to praise the Beosound 2 - it must be a special piece of kit, in spite of some of the more obvious omissions when compared to the plethora of alternatives out there. What software version do you have in your active?

On this forum, I learned about the "PC" input on the active (I've dug through the manuals and references on this site, and there is very little written about this capability). I have my TV hooked to the

I've been using my Beosound 2 with a Mac for about 5 years, and still enjoy it very much. Sounds great. Robust. You don't see the entire population using one. I've never had any problems living without a display. I have multiple SD cards (I just bought a 1GB card for ~$10 last night) with different genres of music, and I'm not a listener
