  • Re: Fully specced BV8

I'd like 37 or 40 in screen. Enough high quality inputs and IR blasters to support a) STB b) DVD c) AppleTV and gaming console + one more just in case). MasterLink. Surround Sound as an *option* (I don't want surround sound, but I can see why others would). Great speakers (good enough so that external speakers are not necessary for casual listening

bumble: 6270302 - DIN to 2x RCA. May need a ground isolator - PC input can be a bit noisier than PL... Best, Bumble Are you sure? I have tried this cable, and I get audio on only one channel. This thread says the correct cable is a "PC Input Adapter". http://forum.beoworld.org/forums/post/89453.aspx I am trying to track one of these down.

  • Re: Beosound 2 - Any Good?

j0hnbarker: Thanks Affineur It's really pleasing to see how many people have taken the time to praise the Beosound 2 - it must be a special piece of kit, in spite of some of the more obvious omissions when compared to the plethora of alternatives out there. I guess sometimes the simple things just work the best! One thing I did pick up on: am I

  • Re: BS5 Any news???

With respect to Microsoft... I generally avoid MS as much as possible, but what's the alternative? I haven't seen Apple allowing others to OEM their hardware/software. Linux perhaps? but that direction has its own set of issues... Stan

  • Re: BeoLink Active Issue

I've tried all sorts of power on/power off, cable connect/dis-connect, etc. and the TV has always been on prior to pressing PC on the Beo4. Always behaves the same Is it your R or L channel this is not working? My R channel is cut out. Stan

  • Re: BeoLink Active Issue

Where did you get the information about the 3 types of cables? I used a standard RCA-DIN AUX input cable when I tested prior to doing any install work... I just didn't notice that there was only 1 channel at that time... luckily the install work so far has not been too difficult... The RCA-DIN cable I have is known to be in good working order. If

  • BeoLink Active Issue

I have a BS9000 (mkIII), active and BL3500 linked. I'm trying to use my active to share my B&O speakers with a non-B&O TV. On this forum, I learned about the "PC" input on the active (I've dug through the manuals and references on this site, and there is very little written about this capability). I have my TV hooked to the

  • Re: Beosund 6 and Beosound 2 for mac user

I've been using my Beosound 2 with a Mac for about 5 years, and still enjoy it very much. Sounds great. Robust. You don't see the entire population using one. I've never had any problems living without a display. I have multiple SD cards (I just bought a 1GB card for ~$10 last night) with different genres of music, and I'm not a listener
