Its almost certain to be bad caps. I would advise replacing all the caps to prevent any further problems plus will sound a lot better. Dillen one of the members sell DIY re-capping kits. You will need to able to use a soldering iron. From my experience its difficult to find a B&O service centre who are willing to repair the older products. Good

Is there anyone who knows how to add a vx sensor internally on a vx7000?

I will be getting a Beocord vx7000 (if all goes to plan) soon. As far as I know one can only control the becord via remote through a Beovision. Is this correct? I was wondering if there is anyway to get around this as I don't have a Beovision at the moment. Thanks

I have looked indepth at the product list and as far as I can see, the Vx sensor doesn't appear on the list?? It is a B&O product. Was it overlooked?
