Peter, Whilst, your TV uses standard 32 bit NEC protocol and uses the default device code for a TV of HEX 00 and there are some standards for commands, its clear your TV does not use these standard because the standard "Power" code is "12" and you have "57" So, you will need to capture all the codes from your original remote

Unfortunately, there remains several key software bugs in the Configuration Tool which limit the macro functionality, however if you are prepared to manually edit the XML file you will be able to achieve your objective. The short answer is NO The long answer is because the Beo5 is an “Infrared” remote which uses light to transmit the signals, whereas your Mertik Maxitrol RF remote uses Radio Frequency to transmit signals, so they each use different technologies.
