I do not like the typical "hi fi" overly clinical sound. I much prefer the more mellow, easy to listen to sound that B&O systems provide in abundance. What does that make me?? Answers on a postcard please.
You asked... here is my postcard! This is all bullsh1t!! Who does the writer of the review in this hi fi comic think he is? How does he decide what is better to MY ears. He is within his rights to talk about and comment on facilities but sound quality is in the ear of the individual listener. Namely ME! How does a BS3000 digital music player get tired??? Played too many cd's? Been

Take my advice, don't get involved with the test modes, particularly TM27. You will not get sensible data and it will only serve to confuse. It either works or it doesn't! If it works and you want it, buy it. If it doesn't and you can't fix it, walk on by.

I use a Keystrobe disc in mains lighting. Cost about £15 and works well. Double sided 50/60Hz. Allows speed setting while stylus is actually on the disc playing! www.keystrobe.com Delivered in a couple of days.

By the time you have put it through all these test modes you will be a good deal older and back on 20 a day! I suggest that you put CD's in positions 2 and 6. Select position 2 which should start playing. Select RANDOM via remote or via the keyboard if no remote. Does it play tracks from both CD positions? Does it move smoothly between the 2 CD's

If you want convenience of a built in RIAA pre amp and superb sound quality then I suggest a Beogram 6000 Tangential. This represents top four of the Premier League in terms of sound quality with any of the higher end available cartridges. These decks are hard to find in good working order and need regular maintainance due to their age. Still Premier

Why won't any body answer this question. Are you all too busy doing market research for Lee! With your finger ends in the fret (speaker cover) material, pull the sides of the fret frame outwards and towards you. The fret should then just lift away. I am not sure that you can order replacements from B&O any longer. Check with your B&O dealer
