I wouldn't say it's not so simple, there are quite a few chances to (majorly) screw things up inside the TV in the process of doing it. You do it at your own risk if you want to.

I would have them refoamed to be honest! There seems to be no useful information about the cones on the internet other than their free-air resonant frequency. Refoaming them should retain the same specifications of driver.
