And on WAF, it would seem the usual problem is the size of the black screen. The depth is usually of little importance.

I would get an Avant 32 DVD as a stop gap. It would seem screen size is not paramount and this set offers as good a picture for the majority of your viewing as is possible. I would also see if you can't track down the STB-C for the MX7000 - any UK dealers have one? I think flat screen is still developing as are transmission standards and investing

Beolab 1s tend to polarise opinions. They have a superb top end which can appear quite cold and clinical and despite their size, lack ultimate bass despite having 400W powering the bass speakers. The transfers are just like the transfers one used to get on old Airfix models! However these come as an A4 sheet which you print on. I played around with print settings before making those seen - they are fair only. Once you have printed them, you spray the sheet with several coats of clear lacquer before cutting them out and putting them in water
