Hi, I have reconditioned several of these speakers. Yes, they can be repainted. Though I usually don't repaint the front cause you will loose the lettering, but the sides, top and bottom are easily repainted after light sanding and filling. The speakers have a little glossy line running horizontally in the middle, which you either have to mask off

Looks great ..... I want one ! As many of you already have said, Let's just wait and see for ourselves. Personally I find it a better design than anything they've come up with last couple of years. Fully contemporary but still with a b&o flavour... And as long as it works well, this will be a winner imo.
