Welcome to beoworld. the problem properly lies in your picture tube. it's possible to bay a little time by adjusting the G2 voltsh but it's best to get a technician to do this..

No you have to use both scart and HDMI Yes the commands is send via scart

Hi If you connect DVD2 to AV2 f.ex. you use a scart cable and a HDMI cable to connect it with. Scart for controlling the DVD and for link room signal. HDMI for hi res. pic. on BV9. Kokane81: trust me the dvd player will work with a beo4 you don't need to only use the buttons on the bc2. The DVD function in BC2 is controlled by the TV via the scart cable with DATA link. but maybe if it's in option 2 it's possible??

OK If you call DVD2 "DVD" in connection menu it works like a DVD when you turn it on, if it's called V-mem it works like a Hdd recorder. And V.aux it starts in time shift mode... As you have HDR2 you would call it DVD because that is the function you will use.
