Will the beosystem 3 support DTS-HD Master Audio and Dolby TrueHD.??? Anyone know!!
-
The Stig - ver. 1.4: Sorry but DVI-D is not dual it's digital only, and DVI-I is analog and digital. BV6-22 is the only TV with DVI-D BV/BC6-23/26 and BV7 has DVI-I BV7-40 mkIII has HDMI instead (And DVI-D output like JoC says) In relation to BS3 and BV4 dvi-d or dvi-1 works it doesnt matter which cable one uses the plugs simply have less pins!
-
Its DVI-1 DVI dual works as well- it just has more pins that dont do anything! For the record I experimented with some very expensive cables and they did not do much to improve an already great picture- has to be said the B&O ones looke rather poor quality for the prices they were asking. For the record the best quality cables that many home cinema

Santiago: Hi 355f, My dealer has this setup installed in the shop: BV4 65" full HD + Bsys3 + Bluray player Panasonic. They are controlling the whole using only the beo4 and it plays the true HD-DTS in 7.1 via Labs. The bluray film they used for the HD-DTS 7.1 demo was "Van Helsing". Regards. Hi there! I dont suppoe you recal the model

May I ask what Blue ray players are being used with BV9/4 with BS3?? and how are they connected( hdmi- scart??) how is audio handled (via coax?) Is anyone getting true dd sound? and any problems with BS3 handling it? The PS3 has been mentioned but my understanding is that it does not offer the best PQ in general for BR, its very noisy and does not support

Beolab: I´m thinking of purchasing a second set of Beolab 8000´s and a second Beolab 2, and i´m going to use them only as front speakers! = 4x Beolab 8000 and 2 x Beolab 2 for stereo listening only... I think the sound would be pretty impressive with this setup!? ( And everyone think buy BL5 or BL9!!!, but why go with the main stream
-
I think im almost alone in voting neither product! From a looks perspective there is no doubt the 8000 wins, there are so many facsimile 6000 now that this type of design is no longer unique. The problem is that B&O for the prices it charges has to be taken more seriously as an audio /video company; the 8000 amplification module is base at best

Bingo: In my opinion, the Beosystem 3 is very overpriced compared to almost equal products nowadays. It is economical smart to make use of the fact that you can only connnect Beolabs to it, but if I see other top AV recivers with 4 HDMI inputs, very good upscaling and 7 channels I wonder if the price is not a bit unrealistic high. Name me a B&O

Beolab: 355f: Beolab: No 355f !! Its all about the back-lightening on a LCD. ;) 50% of the PQ is the back-lightening, 20% is the video engine/processor and 30% is the panel if you didn't now that.... Regards Since when has one heard of the panel being seperated from the backlight!-its one and the same thing, It is classed as a unit. So when for
