From memory the European consensus is don't bother. US market only and supports surround formats that Noah and possibly William the Conqueror would be familiar with.

I actually think the CD50 is much-maligned when it comes to talking about the supposed quality of the DAC. To me it sounded great. The CDX sounds great too

I think they look better than the originals. Would look great with a BC9500 or Beosystem 4500 with all that polished alu :)

I got mine second hand just because I wanted a B&O mp3 player.
