  • Re: How far is too far?

TripEnglish: What I'm really interested in are some constructive ideas & opinions beyond what we generally toss at one another (or into the void as it sometimes seems). My personal concerns, for example, tend more toward the expansion of wireless link both in terms of compatible products, level of integration, and capabilities. I'd also

  • Re: BS5 Any news???

Trip, What format is your 100GB of music. Is it 128 kps or lossless. How many CDs is that. What a fishing trip? Right? Thanks,

  • Re: BS5 Any news???

Trip, Would my Beocenter 2 have a rival if I were to get Beosound 5? I would have to find more space in my condo. The advantage of the Beomedia 1 is that it is hidden and doesn't clash with the BC2. Is this going to be B&O clutter? This must explain why B&O sells a large cabinet to hide things. I thought B&O was about design and minimalism

  • Beolab 3 upgrade question

I know this was discussed earlier but I could not find the thread. I have a pair of Beolab 3s that I purchased when the speakers were first introduced. Is there a MKII version or is there an upgrade? If there is a new version, can the original Beolab 3s be upgraded to the new version? Thanks.

TripEnglish: If the BeoSound 5 doesn't have coverflow, a touch screen, an affordable price, a multi-terabyte hard drive, support for lossless codecs that have yet to be imagined, human emotions, a socket panel that supports multiple HDMI inputs with 48fps, THX certification, a single hair from George Lucas' beard, the traces of Jacob Jensen's

TripEnglish: Let's hope so Lee. I agree with one of the above posts that Chinese manufacturing doesn't neccessarily speak the the product's quality as it once did. I've been really pleased with my Apple products and it has never bothered me that they aren't made in Cupertino California. I've always been torn about Danish manufacturing

  • Re: How far is too far?

As a longtime owner of B&O products, I tend to think about each purchase as a ten year investment. Although I would like a B&O TV, it just doesn't pass my self imposed 10 year test. I still have my MX5000 which is almost 20 years old and works perfectly but I purchased a 32 inch Toshiba LCD as my interim TV. I was operating under the delusion

  • Re: Beo4's New look

andy: What about the beolink 7000, was that not shiney, and how did it cope with fingerprints? I can answer that one. I never touch my Beolink 7000. I control the system with a Beolink 5000. I don't want to put fingerprints on the 7000. Ha!

  • Re: can b&o survive??!

355f, I hope B&O survives also. However I hope the survival plan is revealed to us at least in part. I am not really inclined to make any additional B&O purchases for the time being because of the uncertainty.

  • Re: B&O TV Why?

TripEnglish: I don't mean to inflict harm on anyone's pride, but you are not our target market! I am definitely not your target market. Trip, I think you should give it a rest.
