Is there any way to do this? My parents have just bought a new LG television (LG 47SL90QD), but its only audio out port is an optical one. There are several HDMI, RCA and component ports, but these all appear to be for inputting sources. Any suggestions? Have I missed something obvious? Stuart
Strange. The
Hi guys, just a quick couple of questions, I have just got a BeoVision 7-40 MKV and have put a BeoVision 6-26 in my bedroom, before I had my 7-40 I just used Sky on the BeoVision 6 with a Digi-Eye but I am going to run ML and coax, my question is do I need to buy the specific B&O RF Link Amplifier or can I use any

No. Your dealer is right. It´s not the BS3 you have. Read the manual. Stefan

Yes, right. I can access my BM5 via Beoplayer installed on my macbook/mac mini. This already worked with earlier software, but not more than one client at the same time. If the BS5/BM5 is in standby mode, Beoplayer will wake it up. Stefan

"Is there a name for this cable for the VGA connection" VGA cable. "how much is the Lintronic box" See www.lintronic.dk You need the -238 box. "Am I right in that when FORMAT 0 is applied i will be able to control which and how speakers are used." You can choose SPEAKER 1 -5. Stefan

What exactly is your receiver? There are two Kaon receivers on the PUC list: -K 3000HDPVR -KS660HD Stefan

As said before: You can get HD resolution via VGA, not Full HD, because BV7-32 max. resolution is 1366 x 768. Same as BV7-40 MKI/II. And pressing FORMAT 0 will activate the PROJECTOR out (VGA). Stefan

No. Wouldn´t work. The first is BS5 - stereo out/Masterlink - mainroom, linkrooms. 2nd is BS5 - ethernet - airport extreme - wireless Mac mini (Beoplayer). 3rd is BS5 - ethernet - airport extreme - wireless Macbook (Beoplayer). All three units are working independantly from each other. You can browse and listen to different songs. A mix of N.MUSIC

"It appears my current set up is hdmi connected to a splitter then to Sky HD and PS3 Sky HD is connected to the DVI" I think, Sky HD and PS3 are connected to a HDMI switcher which is connected to DVI-I input....(?), so you can choose between Sky and PS3 on the DVI input, am I right? Because a splitter connected to an input doesn`t make sense

Ok, just send a pm if you need a TSOP 7000. I think, you are talking about the stb controller. Sorry, I never had a BS2, so I can`t help here much, I`m afraid. But I know, that BS2 has an stb controller for two devices, assigned as DTV and V.AUX. Maybe the Sky HD box is on your PUC list. If not it should be possible to add the device to your list, maybe
