The integration in the Wall is a good point. I stayed just now in the W Hotel in Istanbul. They had an entire wall out of mirrored glas, and behind it and interesting lamp on one side, and a normal LCD TV screen on the other. If you would switch on the tV, you could see the screen. If it was off, you just had mirrored glas. Very nice. I still would

@ michael: Our BV8 in the US doesnt have the analog tuner. So we can use it actually freely. I have mine setup to work with my Apple TV. Cheers JK

You can see it in Munich and New York. There was another city, have forgotten it. I believe there is a market within commercial applications, i.e. hotel lobbies, exhibition stands etc.

In the 70s or 80s it was very common for tape recorders to use an aux (din 5 pin) connection. You would connect recorder to radio/amp through a male male connection. So this is an extension for that. You can still find the 5 pin aux on BS9000 and others. Today this is pretty much useless since most would use a aux din 5 pin to cinch converter and then

Following the discussions here, I think the VGA adapter is the next logical step. I don't know though how good the quality will be when you run this through the AV link cable. I might consider a different approach, I would take a look at Apple TVs that sync wirelessly with Itunes on your mini mac. Or I would manage my content on a network shared

I would think most BV7s are shipped across the ocean in their original packaging. I mean, how does it get into the store from denmark? I think what you may want to consider is, do you really just go for 18 month or is there potential extension. I went for a bit in 1998 and I am still here running a BS2300 with 230 volts. Personally I would not be comfortable

I'd say don't worry too much, I am sure you still have a place here regardless what you do Even if critic is out of line, it still often represents an interesting view on things. And we all should keep in mind that all our bitching about the inflated TV prices does seem to move something. I still think you should apply for that job. I don't

@ Flappo, looking at your avatar, are you an owner of the worlds heaviest cookbook? I had one shipped through amazon.uk to the US, must have cost them a fortune. In regards to the complainers, didn't the prices on the BVs recently come down a bid? Isn't there a BV8 coming with surround and multiple HDMIs? Just a thought that we may owe a thank

I am actually holding back. I delay other things as well, i.e. new car. I just feel that I am in a phase in my live where I should be building up wealth and the stock market looks very attractive right now. Everything I can I plan on saving & investing. Only splurge I do right now is travel, cause that is dirt cheap in my opinion. Think 300$ for
