The Avant has an update available that will allow it to control the ATV2 with the B&O remote via IR emitter. My Avant has the update but I have not yet attempted because…………..my 15 year old son is about to jail break the ATV2 which will permit us to get Amazon and Hulu. We are going to attempt all of this during the weekend

I have an old form of MOTS that is really amazing. I load my music selections in the 9000, turn on the random function, and it plays all the music that I really like! The other source for music in our house is the music that streams from the computer to the AppleTV2 to the Avant to the ML; and the computer music selection is controlled through an Android

[quote user="elephant"] [quote user="Karla"]Since the ATV2 is connected to the Avant, the Avant is serving as the gateway to the ML and all of our content is moving through our home. Excellent video with some interesting notes: Attempting to bring out new products on a quarterly or monthly basis. The alluring mention of 3 rd party compatibility. (Apple?) New category attempt to a capture interest in the B&O brand and then drive them to the B1 stores. But here is where they are missing the point: the new category is described

I clicked on the link and read the announcement, and to me it doesn’t really say anything. If looks like a short bit of corporate nonsense about marketing direction, but not a real word about products.

Call your local B&O dealer. It turns out that there are units still floating around the inventories of some the dealers. I purchased a unit for $250US approximately one year ago through my local B&O store and it came with the three year warranty.
