I have a non RF avant 32 vcr, currently connected to a standard sky receiver. I also have a Topfield 5800 pvr which I bought on the advice of a b&o bod who said it could be used with the beo4. I've tied swapping the ir "thingy" on to the topfielf (although it's not as obvious as with the sky box where to stick it!) but no luck
