Completely agree. I also still use my BM1... for the linked rooms since the BM5 cannot be controlled if you have a BS5 connected. Again, this doesn't make any sense to me!

Tried Twonky. Looks interesting, turns on BS5, but the play button from the iPhone results in an error message and BS5 stays on PAUSE mode. Did you experience the same issue?

How do you configure your system BS5/BM5 + BV7 to make eLyric power on the speakers? I didn't succeed so far. eLyric turns BS5/BM5 on, starts playing... but the speakers don't turn on. What's your setting? I have also tried several Apps and my rank order would be eLyric > PlugPlayer > iMediacontrol (free!) > 8Player (not easy to
