Hi, can anyone help with a technical issue. My Beogram 2000 type 5240 requires the turntable to be turned by hand on initial start up. I have had the motor replaced and all the wiring checked. It runs ok once it starts to gather momentum on its own ????

Just aquired a nice Beogram 2000 5240, no manual with it so I am a bit unsure how to set the stylus to the correct weight. Is the numbered dial at the side for bias or weight,? Should the end weight be turned first so that the arm balances itself ?, I have an SP14 stylus so any advice is welcome

Where can I get a replacement stylus for a BEOGRAM 2000, other than B&O or ebay ? Any suggestions would be great, and advice on the types that are compatible, Cheers

Hi Jeff, I also have a pair of S50's and a 2400 2 I purchased some replacement foam from http://www.freewebs.com/good_hifi/ quick delivery and very easy to repair I used some plastic glue from local diy store. They sound ok now they have been restored but a bit flat, even my S30's sound more dynamic, and they only cost a fiver from a car boot

Hi everyone, I have just aquired a Beomaster 1900. All seems ok apart from a continuous hum o(Just like feedback) in all selections, Phono/Tape/Tuner. this hum increases on the Tuner and obviously when increasing bass. Can anyone advise on a soloution, I am technically minded.
