I believe whenever I have tried this I have had two 7000's in the room. I will try this again with them separated! Any ideas on why the 7000 in another room hanging on the wall charger, and connected to the 4500 via MCL cable, will sometimes display time and sometimes not?

I own four Beolink 7000's (I know, a sad state of affairs). One of them properly displays the clock when in standby, after a little while. Another one will only do it when connected to the XTRA Wall Mount, and then only randomly. The other two don't display the clock at all. Although, the clock time is correct when I go through the PANEL menus

I just purchased a german Beosystem 7000 I would like to convert to US 110V operation. The repair manual shows a relatively straightforward change in jumper wires across the transformer terminals. Is this really all there is to this? Do I also need to change the fuse to a lower voltage rating than 250V?

Although this an old thread, let me respond. I just bought a Beomaster 7000, and I was puzzled with a DIN socket coming out from inside the unit. It is connected to the "P89" connector section on PC board 4 inside the unit. It appears to be a factory option that has a B&O connector on the end that plugs into the PC board. There must have

Thanks - I figure it would be on the order 100 pounds or more. It likely disassembles into flat pieces for shipping. But I'd gladly pay it!
