I'm curious...here in athens the beosound 4 cost 2000 euros while the beosound 3200 costs a little over 3000 euros...i was just looking at the british prices and there is only a 300 pound difference which is quite starange...why is the 3200 more expensive here in greece but not in england. why the bigger price difference?

Thanks for all the replies! what can i say either you love B&O or you don't! But I believe that those who say they don't are lying! I get so upset when someone says "B&O are only design and nothing else". I did know about the stands that set the 4000's at the same angle as the 3200...they look great together. To be honest

5 years ago I bought my first B&O music system, the beosound 1. I was 25 years old which in B&O years is an average of about 5 years old. Lets face it, these products are not aimed at people in their 20's. My friend had bought the century in 1995 and i would find excuses to go to his house all the time just to listen to it and fiddle with

so the display from 1991 is the same as the 3200 of today? i thought the display had a red light on the 2300 i guess i was wrong.
-
I'm curious...does the beocenter 2300 have the exact same display as the beosound 3200? does the display light up information in green like the 3200? thanks

I own the beosound 1 and i know that it is rated at 91 db. What about watts?
-
I'm just curious... B&O never used to refer to their speakers in terms of watts but more in sound pressure...so i'm curious...if the beolab 4000 has an output of 59 watts and 97 soundpressure level, how many watts does the beosound 1 have? or to be more specific...is the beosound 1 considered 1 or 2 speakers? i find this product confusing
-
i don't think there is anyway of doing that i would have seen it in the manual. there is a pin code but that's about it
-
yes the 3200 and the beolab 3's are both great products but they don't look good next to eachother. They are too different design wise...
-
very interesting...i will go to the closest b&o store tomorrow and listen to both the 4000's and the 3's..i'm really surprised that you dislike the 3200 i think it's really nice but i will probably be getting the BS4 because it is more modern and because it uses the sd cards....i'm surprised that you don't like the beolab
