• Before Selling - What to charge for a Beogram RX?

Hi Everyone! I'm interested in selling my Beogram RX turntable, hopefully locally to someone in Toronto, Canada (as shipping would be a headache), but I have no clue how to price it. I know it's not a terribly high end B&O table, as I think it was thier base model back in the early 80's, but: - I've had it for over 13 years and it
Mike,What car forum do you belong to?!
A number of the Auto Magaine website forums such as caranddriver.com and autoweek.com . My favourite used to be www.leftlanenews.com but it seems the discussion forums there have been overrun with trolls: Children who have too much time on their hands, unreasonable brand loyalty
@murciemeA lot of Acura dealers have been color matching the beaks on the TL to the rest of the car. It really reduces the jackolantern look.To be honest I don't much care for the current TSX, it has a bloated look to me, especially when it's parked next to the prev generation TSX. Oh and btw if you haven't heard

  • Re: Can we please not have any B&O 3D TV threads this year?

I hope this 3D TV thing is just a fad. Yeah, it's kinda neat with Some material some of the time, but it's little more than a gimmick. How about investing in brining those impressive OLED TV's to market instead...
I have a long-time collection of Bang & Olufsen since 1964, and admit myself clearly a card-carrying B&O enthusiast and supporter. I also have a Bose system ( 14 speakers ) in a navigation system in ouir 2004 Porsche, and it is reliable and very impressive. Cd, DVD, Radio, and Mp3. In 2005 and for the next 5
I forgot that I actually own a Bose car system in our Acura RL. haha woops! We just got the car, I guess I keep forgetting about it entirely!!!Its a very meaty sound and I really don't care for it. It's really hard to bash your own car... The surround sound 5.1 mode sounds plain awful. The center channel is just

  • Re: what;s your favourite audio recording

My all time Favourite Album would be Sarah McLachlan's 1991 sophmore effort, Solace . It's not the most brilliant sounding work from an audiophile standpoint, but was reissued and remastered by Classic Records on 180g vinyl a few years back, much to my immense pleasure! Sarah's voice is at it's best here, and her songwriting had matured
My understanding is they put a lot of work into this; a larger number and speakers, with DSP's behind it- that is unique to their automotive work so far, isn't it? I've read they have a number of classically trained musicians listening and working on these systems- does anyone know if other companies use
I once stumbled upon an unlocked Maserati Quattraporte with the 9 speaker Bose system. I could only listen to the radio, it was ok. Just as mentioned, the eq had a bit of a boost at the bottom and top. I took the volume all the way to the top and it couldn't sustain any clarity/accuracy.I have yet to hear any of the
