  • Re: Volume control

All you have to do is go into the menu. Go to Options, Sound, then Adjustments. Select the volume level(via Beo4) that you feel is appropriate then hit "go" to store that setting. This is the only way to store the volume. Joe

  • Re: Using BeoSound 2 and Windows Vista

Thanks you are right. B&O is working on making software compatible for Vista. BeoPlayer does seem to work fine with out the BeoSound 2 software. Joe

  • Re: Beosystem 1 upgrade

The BeoSystem 1 is a great product depending on what you are looking to do. It is definitely an improvement over the AV7000. If you want Beo 4 operation over all your components e.g. DVD, Cable, Satellite, this will do the trick. It also has a great video processor in it. The new BeoSystem 3 is much more advanced than the BS1 but costs a little more

  • Re: BS9000 Spins up and goes into Pause

Depending on the age and use of your unit, that is probably a very temporary fix. There are "laser cleaning cds" available, not sure if they really work. You dont have much to lose at this point though. Hope it remedies your problem. Joe

  • Re: Where is Beosound 5

Hehe, someone has a sense of humor. Bang & Olufsen will use companies like Samsung when they need them for things like LCD panels and telecommunication products. They will not however use these companies to design their products and for a good reason. Having been to Struer, I will say that B&O is an amazing company that goes extraordinary lengths

  • Using BeoSound 2 and Windows Vista

Hello Everyone, I just wanted to know if anyone else has issues running the BS2 with Vista. Just got a new computer and cannot get it to work. I left a message with product support today. Just wanted to know how many people are having this minor obstacle. Thanks. Joe

  • Re: BS9000 Spins up and goes into Pause

How old is your BS9000? Try cleaning the clear plastic tabs that stick out of the aluminum. Sometimes that can be an issue. I would suspect that your laser is going out and that moving it from the wall is coincidental. Not sure what else it would be, assuming same cds played fine before. Joe

  • Re: Hide holes in the wall

You can try buying a blank wall plate and cut a small hold somewhere in the center. Make the hole large enought for your cables to fit through it, it will look pretty professional that way. If you really want to go all out, get some "snake skin" cable cover for the wires. Joe

  • Re: real a8's or not - take a look

If you buy from a dealer, you take no risk. You also get a good warranty, customer service, and it only costs a few dollars more. Joe
