  • Beosound 3

Hi. I just bought a Beosound 3 from US ebay and it came without the mains socket(which is effectively the charger). I'm wondering if anyone knows if I have to buy one from the US(110V) or if the UK one(220V) will work ok. I'd hate to fry it with the wrong voltage!

  • Re: Is the Beosound 1 from Bang & Olufsen worth the money?

I have to agree with Peter to some extent. I have both Beosound 1 and Century. I find that (because of the lack of tone controls) the beosound 1 sounds fairly ordinary at low volumes compared to the Century. It appears to liven up though when played at louder volumes.

  • Re: Two Active eye's

Hi there. Don't really know the answer to your question but I'm sure some knowledgeable beoworlder will soon respond. Should the answer be negative, I'd like to buy your spare 'eye' if you'd like to sell. John

This particular case though is definitely dodgy: The phone number is a Lagos number not an Abeokuta one. It's very odd that

  • Re: Beolink 7000

Hi. I had no idea Beosystem 4500 was two way. I have my Beolink 5000 prgrammed one-way for it! Also, does anyone know where I can get new batteries for my beolink 7000. Mine doesn't hold a charge too long.

  • Re: LC2 and energy saving light bulbs

There are other reasons for using energy saving bulbs. They don't emit as much heat as regular bulbs. This is very important if you live in the tropics.

  • Re: Serene durability

Hi. I've had mine for about 7 months. Its fallen a few times and its still in very good condition. The material used outside makes it possible for you to wipe away scratches effectively.
