there is a rubber stop in the middle which stops you from making it possible to shut the doors together fully so doing what i say won't damage anything and got told to do this by B&O. What they said is you get slack in the metal cable which cause the doors not to shut properly and those clamps are there to make slight adjustments.

Try cleaning the tracks on bottom and top, failing that if you take the back off you will see a Metal cable which has some clampers on it. loosen these off and then push doors together and tight the screws as you are pushing the doors together

only thing with bv9 is your paying for a hdr2 which most people never use plus you got to find somewhere to put dvd player and sky box unless you put it on a bracket on the back and wouldn't be suprised if B&o release a dvd blue ray/ hd module upgrade eventually.

With Beovision 4 -50 you'll need a dvi cable connecting them as well as a Rs232 which is used for switching the screen on. plus you would have to find a place to put the beosystem3. plus you will need to mount a 70mm circular ir eye somewhere. As for the Bv7-40 same chassis, dvd player built in, more options for mounting i.e motorized wall bracket

Yeah tried that cheers, even tried a a new hdmi - dvi converter!

Has anyone encountered a problem with this setup?? I have connected a virgin media+ hd box via HDMI and when i change the settings on the box to output HDMI the screen goes blank but get sound. Tried resetting the t.v but to no avail. I know Bv7-32 and 40 had probs with the scalers when connected to a SKY Hd box do you think this may also be related

But if you wanting to use beomedia in a link room then you'll have to connect a svideo to scart to the bv7-32 as well.

could be the scan panel that has gone faulty.
