This applies to all brands these days. You simply can not survive trying to make every component yourself. B&O tried in the past and went broke. Look at a Ferrari as an example, the tyres, rims, brakes, electronics, stereo/nav system, new double clutch system...list goes on, all made out house to spec by someone else. Still it's no less a Ferrari

I've got an apple tv connected with BV4/BS3 surround setup (livingroom) and BV10 with BL3's/BL2 in bedroom. I love the setups and function, even better with apple remote. Only thing I don't like is having to manual change to speaker 2 option for stereo sound when listening to music. All other functions and sound are a thumbs up. If your

Although a little late in the game it's not a bad move by B&O. Maybe it's designed for Apple Stores? Walk into any flagship Apple store and you can pick up a B&W Zepplin dock, B&O A8's, B&O Earset 2's. Why not a B&O iPod dock.
-
Yes i know but a dock is in planning, although it's been delayed.

Connect all speakers to BV10 and BV10 to BS3200 via masterlink. If the BL3's are in a different possition to BV10 then you choose speaker option 1 for center (tv) speaker 2 (stereo) or speaker 3 (all 3). I think the sub should work with all options. There is link optioning too but it would turn the sub on and off.

Why HDMI? Next gen iphone will be 4G and downloading a movie will be a matter of a couple of minutes, an album a couple of seconds. Looks like B&O are offering their apple customers different options for streaming in the future, about time too. Fingers crossed anyway.

I think B&O has done the right thing. If you're thinking of it from purely an audio point of view then it seems excessive but this is a solution for the smart home that does everything and an ir remote doesn't cut it anymore. B&O pioneered home integration in the 80 and 90's an this is a good avenue to take. I believe it's for
It Doesn't stream but it could be the hand held two way remote it has Wifi
This can already be done with the Apple remote app. It works with iTouch and iPhone and i suspect iPad too. All that is needed is an interface keyboard with Apple remote if you would like to surf Youtube and such. Apple remote is also

I find it odd that B&O don't make a centre channel to suite a plasma on table stand. The table stand for BL7-2 would be great if it didn't sit higher than the cabinet stand for the BV4 and block the bottom of the screen. Question: Currently I have BV4/BS3 with BL5's front, BL9's rear and a pair of BL3's centre (mono). Once I
-
My setup at home is BL5's front left/right, BL 9's back left/right and a pair of BeoLab 3's as the centre. The reason for this is that my BV4 50" is on a cabinet and the table stand for the plasma is lower that the table stand for the BL7 centre, so I went with a pair of BL3's as the mono centre. The power output on a pair of BL3's
