Hi, My Beosound 1 is acting up. Some months ago, it stopped responding to my remote (without any warning) and although I can still use it by pushing the buttons manually, it sort of takes out the whole idea of having one not close to my bed. What might have caused this and more importantly - how do I solve it?

Very interesting tips, as I have asked myself the same question when I move my 7-40. Am a bit surprised by the shops inability to help - especially since I read that B&O has said they need to strengthen their shops. (This is in Danish only: http://www.business.dk/brancher/bo-skal-have-staerkere-butikker )

As a proud owner of a BC 2, and as I originally used it with my old Hitachi 42" Plasma, I can say I love it, although I have the model without the audible feedback. The drawback, apart from the price is of course also the lack of blu-ray and as far as I know B&O will not extend that to it. In itself, the BC 2 is beautiful and I love the opening

Oh...that is so difficult to say. It is in good shape, so I guess market value is somewhere around £180 .

If I may address the second question (as I see it's easier to respond to than the first one as it is a bit unclear), I would say that the main idea I see in the design, is simplicity. I think that someone once put it that the idea is that it is finished, when there is nothing more to take away from it and that sums it up quite nicely. B&O design

On a side note it can be noted that Beomedia 1 does the same thing. Most annoying, so any tips are most welcome!

Hi, As I am parting with most of my vintage passive loudspeakers, I've decided to part with my BeoVox Cona. It's in mint condition and black. Both it (and I) are located in Sweden, so I'd be open to ship. Serious offers accepted.

Hi guys, I am looking for a Beolink 5000 to complete my collection. As always - sensible offers please. Send message here or email me at frispar@gmail.com Thanks!
I would just get one for the collector value. There is nothing like it ever made EVER. What other remote rises up and has a motor in it? So cool. It is a work of engineering to marvel at.
I agree. I use mine with my BS 7000 and Avant. It works well with the TV, great with the 7000 and I do adore it's beauty

I do! I will try and see how it helps! Thanks!!
