Might have expressed myself incorrect but what my dealer mentioned was that he had used a window cleaning fluid to remove the AR coating in cases there this had already been damaged, i.e. definitely nothing to use just in order to keep the screen clean. That being said, I own both a BV5 and a 7-32 and has noticed that a mild window cleaning fluid is

Correct! My parents who makes use of the Telia box via ADSL learned that the hard way... You mentioned in another thread that you had a couple of analogue channels availabe via ordinry cable as well so you would however be able to watch those channels and record a digital one at the same time. One cool thing with the Telia box is that you can have your

I would go for alternative 1 - also the one I have opted for myself. 200 EUR does not seem that much compared to the price for the BV10. You will also be able to watch one channel and record another one at the same time which could be a problem if you have a separate HDD without digital tuner. Beware however that Telia requires that you have a fiber

Have the same problem with the AR coating of my BV5 but if I recall correct the price for a replacement glass will not be much less than a new second hand BV5 so that option is probably out of question... My dealer mentioned he had removed the AR coating with a glass cleaner a couple of times. Have not dared to try however. In my case the missing AR

For sure a Beo6. And if the second hand price will be further reduced - av BV9.

As mentioned by IngvarW your navigation possibilities via link room tv:s will unfortunately be reduced if you connect a BS5 to the system. While the BM5 uses the Beoplayer navigation, you can only go to next or previous tracks or to a colured playlist with your remote from link rooms if you connect a BS5. Hopefully the new Beo6 will reduce this problem

The new Beo6 seems really interesting for all BS5 owners. Mots is of course fine but trying to play a specific tune from a link room is a horror. Even my old BS3200 is better as comes to navigation from link rooms. At least I have not been able to find out how to do if I for instance would like to play track nr 20 on a specific album unless I want to

I assume you have connected the BM5 Dvi output to your BV8?

Indeed a really beautiful set the BV5. As regards the BV9 it seems they are for sale a bit more often in Denmark than in Sweden. And better prices as well. Also noticed that there are two sets at Lifestyle for sale even if do not know if the shipping costs and costs for changing the inbuilt DVB-T makes them a very economic choice... Have not stumbled

I have experienced (and still suffer from) the exact same problem with my MK1 BV5. I replaced the chassi appr. 3 years ago due to a faulty ML contact so I can confirm that this did not solve the problem. Have also heard about the potential power supply problem but since my technician let me know that the only solution would be to replace the screen
