Looks beautiful, but sound? I test every now and then different combinations for audio in my home theatre setup. With my ears BL7-1 beats two BL8000's. If the BL8000's are helped by a BL2 it is a tight fight.

Sorry to raise the issue with Pioneer PDP's again. Anyway, I am in aprocess to replace my current non HD ready plasma display with a new one. The options are a Pioneer 9G Kuro (probably list price KRP-500M 2900€) and a B&O BV 4-50 (price 9000€). Has any BS3 owner experience of Pioneer integration? Pioneer seems to have a better picture

HI, has anybody created the xml needed to switch on/off Pioneer plasmas? I am considering to replace my current non Full HD display with a Pioneer KRP-500M and would like to remote that seamlessly with the Beo5.

I got a practical example why you really should disconnected the BM from mains before doing cabling issues in a MCL setup. The result was some bangs, maybe three and a dead BM 6500. The main fuse was blown but that did not resolve tho whole issue. When I connect the BM to mains the BASS, TAPE 2 and TIMER OFF are lighted and a small spark is seen from

joeyboygolf: Peter : I will happily admit that I cannot tell the difference in sound between them. Snap Peter, neither can I. I will also admit that my ears are 59 years old which may have something to do with it, although I have always assumed that aural deterioration took place at the top end rather than the bottom. The Mk2 are fitted with very slightly

j0hnbarker: [ Do you have a BM5000, 6000 or 8000? If so, what do you think is the best sounding amp with BV Pentas? The reason I ask is that of all the people that commented to the OP, most (if not all) have owned or heard a BC9000 at some point. I wonder how many alternative B&O amplifiers you have owned/heard, because there are many better than

joeyboygolf: Well now, I bought what was probably the first BC9000 to come into the UK back in 1986 and I kept it and used it until about 5 years ago. During the intervening 16/17 years or so I used it with many kinds of speakers including Beovox and Beolab Penta, RL 60 and 140 and Beovox and Beolab 5000's. I can state quite categorically that the
