my DVD1 had problems where the DVDs kept skipping and freezing. i opened the case. the lens was foggy with dust! got a cotton bud for cleaning your ears (clean one) and used some isopropyl alcohol that you can buy from chemist or a hifi shop. alterntaively the sterile wipes do the same trick. try that. my DVD1 works beautifully.

pf85, that's great. i like this product a lot but am unhappy with b&o... i'm not the only one. my dealer had to send his new unit back to denmark as dust accumulated under the glass panel. apparently b&o HQ in the uk mentioned this to denmark a few weeks ago. i urge everyone that has a besound 5 to inspect the LCD screen using bright

this is completely unaccpetable and an illogical reply. b&o considered it unacceptable for dust to collect so they replaced the part in order to prevent dust accumulation but now they make out that it is something i have to live with... i am going to complain. does anyone else have any advice as to what more i can do??? dust in a world famous luxury
