hi brian! the battery is brand new and i always thought, if the battery would be the cause, the tv would also loose all the settings for tuning of the tv stations, but mine does keep this. i´ll doublecheck the connections to the battery. speaking of the battery: i didn´t find a battery with the right value - should be 2,4 volts 180 mAh

hi all! i´ve got a problem with my newly bought beovision mx1500: it looses settings for picture and sound, everytime i switch it on, after it was on stand by, color is at minimum, brilliance is at maximum and soundlevel is at minimum. it does keep the setting of the tv stations. i allready renewed the backup-battery, so this shouldn´t be

hi derek! i didn´t have to dismantle the motor. if my memory serves me right (that was quite a while ago) the end of the axis can be seen on the one side of the motor. that was where i cleaned and applied a drop of oil. cuold be, that this opening was closed by a white plasticscrew. but as i said, that was some years ago.... after a quick glance

hi derek! i had a similar problem with my beocord 8002 about three years ago. it turned out, that the lubrification at the motor-axis went dry and after cleaning and relubricating this the speed problem was solved; perhaps the same problem with your cord? good luck! jens

thanks for your help! i´ve already glued the lid (which i got by andyt...for free! thanks again!) and the platter surround back to its place using 2 pack epoxy glue... should be fixed now for the next century... now the beogram looks again as it should, very nice machine, in technical terms as well as designwise. the little spring under the alu

hi andi! that´s really nice of you! you´re right... also i only could bring back to life many of my b+o due to help from some tech wizards on this forum... also i have some spare bits for different vintage b+o on my shelf, but as you´ll probably never have just the right part you need at one moment, it´s great to have a community

hi andy! that´s absolutly fantastic!! the perspex lid on my beogram is very good condition, so i´m only looking for the right hand side aluminium lid.... please let me know the price, you´re asking and shipping cost to munich/germany, you can send me a personal message and i´ll return you my adress and details..... perfect !

hi chris! don´t worry! thanks for looking anyway! i´ll have a try at a local metal-vendor, perhaps i can get a suitable piece of aluminium there... have a nice evening! jens

thanks for all your help! the lid on the 6006 was silver with a black part on the back... 2 pack epoxy seems to be the right stuff here, as the connection from the lid to the hinge should be sturdy. @chris: that would be absolutly great!! i had no hope at all, that i would ever get this part!! i´m really impressed by the turntables technical side

hi all! i just bought a nonworking bg 6006 on ebay. after the exchange of some caps it now works perfectly and i´m really impressed by it´s soundquality! a nice mmc20en is fitted, which still sounds good. the only setback is, that the lid on the right hand side is missing.... so, even if my chances are very little: anyone out there, who
