  • Re: Price for Beocentre 2500

Thanks, Kallasr and Beojeff for your input. The price seems to have fallen substantially so I might hold on to the Beocentre. I have had this with the Beolab 2500, Beolab 4000 and Beolab 6000. Now, it is just the Beocentre by itself, sitting there unused. People bought the speakers but not the Beocenter, despite being in great shape, serviced by B&O

  • Re: Help please. Beolink 7000 malfunctioning?

Thanks, Mika. I do not know what I am doing -- I refer to my on-going saga with my Beogram 7000 --so perhaps it would be best to contact B&O Service for a quote on repair costs. [Meanwhile, I will find a second job to pay for all this. All things electronic are presenting difficulties recently: BG7000, BM7000, BL4500 and yesterday, my laptop.]

Perhaps it is the only one in Australia that he is selling? Ha, ha, ha.

Dear All, Here are the results: BL7000 with the BC2500: they work. The BL7000 controls the BC2500 when the remote is pointed directly at the BC2500, when the remote is pointed at the wall to the left, when the remote is pointed at the wall to the right and when the remote is pointed at the wall facing the BC2500. Beo4 with the Beomaster 7000: not as

  • Re: Help please. Beolink 7000 malfunctioning?

Thanks to all of you. My Beocentre 2500 is two-way so I can try out the Beolink 7000 on that [once I get everything hooked up again]. I have a Beo4 which I will try with the Beomaster 7000 from across the room. Sorry, I forgot to mention that the setting for the BL7000 has been on "clock" so the time should be showing. I will report back on

  • Price for Beocentre 2500

Hi, All. I am considering selling my Beocentre 2500 as it has been sitting in storage for the past few years. Is it worth selling or should I hold on to it as a collectible classic in the far distant future? I heard that the market prices for B&O products have fallen. For the avoidance of doubt, I am selling only the Beocentre with its cable tidy

  • Help please. Beolink 7000 malfunctioning?

Dear All, I am experiencing some problems with my BL 7000. It no longer shows the time when it is on the table charger; rather, it shows the red dot. The second problem that I attribute to the BL 7000 is the reduced range. I practically have to hold the remote in front of the Beomaster 7000 to activate the system. Any diagnosis from anyone? Thanks in

  • Re: Beogram 7000 tone arm assembly not moving

Dear All, After much further procrastination [mainly because of being intimidated by the unknown], I have re-assembled my BG7000. The tonearm carriage moves the full length of travel when pushed manually. However, the deck does not function. I now have the following problems: 1. when I removed the MMC 2, the tone arm raised up. After re-installing the
