  • Re: Beo 5 : Discuss!

Alex: The PUC was just updated to control the Apple Remote, so yes the BS3 and the Beo5 will be able to control AppleTV. Do we know if that includes fast scrolling?

  • Re: Which do you think is winning us over?

There's something about living with something as well, eventually you don't miss the difference as you get used to a lower quality - until you hear it properly!!

Praetorianer: is it possible to learn codes from other devices ( ps 3 or apple tv ) Fast scrolling on the aTV would be great - is this possible on a learning remote or is this a complicated macro?

  • Re: beocenter 2 and hdmi

Mr10Percent: Well I drive my BL5's via the BV7 and BC2. The BC2 is linked to the BL5's via the digi-coax and I would comment it is far from garbage. I don't mean to say that a BC2 - BL5 combo is garbage - I've heard it and I know its excellent, I'm talking relative - that the BL5s are such good quality speakers, they deserve a similar

I'm thinking the display might be a bit like what the iPhone will be, so screen will change depending on what sources you own, and then will change again depending on the source you pick - so if

  • Re: BV7 Freeview module

Thanks for clarifying Peter - looks like an upgrade to a Beo5 is the most fun route. Re the Beo5, do the different sources you wish to have just appear on the touch sensitive screen (a bit like the iPhone will work).

  • Re: BV7 Freeview module

Peter: It is an addition not a replacement. Plugs in as a module like the module in the Beosystem 3. Also fits the BC6-26" and the Avant DVD and BV3. Very expensive!! Just bringing up this thread as I wanted to clarify this how the module (presumably DVB-T) will work in practice - if we know yet - with a couple of questions. I have a BV3 with a

  • Re: Beolab 2+3 verses 9

I wouldn't make decisions based on technical specs - go to a dealer and here the speakers you are interested in for yourself - that way you can find out the differences! Personally I'd go for lab9s !
