  • Re: MCLAV BM4500 Setup

Hi Stefan The problem ist solved now. Yes i am using the original white (now changed to black) transceiver. I also made the setup for option 2. The problem was a faulty mcl speaker connection (soldered by our dealer...). The white (data) connection was shorted with the right speaker wire (ground). I overlooked that the two-way response (sound level

  • MCLAV BM4500 Setup

Hi everybody Just finished the upgrade from a BS3000 to a BS4500 in our living room. Sounds better and looks nice (black chassis from BS3500, polished surfaces from BS4500, inside BM4500 two-way, took quiet a time to collect all the pieces and to merge everything). Then i started to upgrade the mcl30 - rooms to MCLAV. In the room i started with the

  • Re: Beoworld error

Hi Made the same mistake about five years ago. But i am still happy with my CDX2. Still use it together with a BM3000 on Tape1 Input. Ok there is no remote control but who cares. The CDX2 works with all the CD's we have, even CDR's. The Top-loader is still working fine (not one problem in 5 years, compared to all the problems we have with a

  • Re: IR Code Converter for the BM8000 questions

Hallo Friedmett Thanks for your information about this box. I will post a picture of the mcl beolab kit as soon as possible (don't have it here at home). As far as i remember you can find the information about the modification of the mcl82 link boxes in the manual about the IR code converter (on beoworld). Otherwise i can post copies of the relevant

  • Re: IR Code Converter for the BM8000 questions

[quote user="Friedmett"] I got the box today. It's the right one for sure. I need a powersupply and a cable with a mini plug on one end and blue led on the other to test it. If anyone here has such a cable please let me know. In order for X-tra speakers with the MCL82 system I need the MCL- Beolab kit type 106/7 and the above converter

  • Re: MCL 2A and Beocenter 7700

Hi domrom You try to mix two generations of Beolink: Your Beocenter works together with the MCL 82 Link-System and the Terminal Controller or the master control 7700 Remote controls. The MCL2A's are one generation later. They work together with the newer remote controls like beolink 100 or beo4. The wiring you installed is OK, its the same for both

  • Drowned BeoCom 6000, what shall we do?

Hi folks My wife just told me that she drowned one of our three handsets (first generation). Now its dead (or sleeping, i hope...). What shall we do ? Open it and trying to dry it ? But how do you open one of these headsets? There is no service manual on beoworld. Throw it away and buy a new one of the latest generation and upgrade the base and the

  • Re: Beolink Passive and Powerlink

Hi The Power Link socket is for driving older mcl systems (input powerlink, output mcl via speaker sockets). Usually you drive some passive speakers with this device (input masterlink and link eye, output speaker sockets) Hope this helps Best Regards, David
