One last try to get an answer on this question..... . Is the question that difficult? Or is this subject on the 'forbidden topic' list? I would really like to get an answer because I would like to set my PS3 up properly, reducing the amount of used audio options seems to reduce the ticking/plopping sound issues. Bieele

Nice post, I really like it. Hard to see this end up in a commercial product, but it looks very impressive! Bieele
I also live in a "modern" building. Lots of concrete and glass. Luckily we have soft material on the floor and soft furniture. Still I also thought about improving the acoustics looking for absorbing materials. This site has a nice product, nice looking acoustic panels, unfortunately the site is only in Dutch: http://www.akoestiekwinkel.nl

The sound quality on the BV8 40 is superb compared to the BV8 32, and I would say it is equally as good as the Avant - probably better!
I agree, the sound was also my main concern when buying the BV8-40. I use it in a setup with BL1/BL2/BL4000 and it works very good. The only thing I notice is that the setup
Oh no worries graham. My problem however lies in the amplification, there are wires that have been cut, it looks like a lamp cord. I'm assuming this is the problem?
Sounds like your power amp wires have been cut. Maybe this is done because the speakers were used in a setup where the cables where hidden

"Only 3". Seems to be on the low end for this forum: - Beo 5000 - Beo 4 - Beo 5 Not counting the Beocoms for volume control. Bieele
