I've had a couple of problems with one unit - mainly because they have lapped the globe a couple of times and had some pretty dirty 240v supply at times. Instance 1. - replaced an internal fuse. instance 2. - replaced the chasis (GBP250) There is also quite a bit of labour to get at the internals The only option is to call your B&O service dept

[quote user="Paul Winn"] Working in radio and surrounded with top quality broadcast equipment, I actually think that the BS8 is way overpriced for what it is and that's why I havnt bought into it even though I really like the design of it. There was an instance recently when re-locating, I carried the BS5 home to my UK home and worked with the PC/Beoport set-up via Masterlink to provide music. I now have a second

[quote user="Chrisreunion"]Hi, are you using BMLink or Linkplayer on your Mac? Linkplayer makes it possible to use BeoPort as an audio master, so you can sell your BeoSound and use Linkplayer as audio master , the advantage being to remote control the system with RADIO/CD/A.MEM sources, for instance, + you get a beautiful B&O-looking interface
