  • Re: August Prize Draw

Lee, just for the avoidance of doubt, do the rules prevent any member buying multiple gold memberships, ie just like buying 2 or 3 lottery tickets. Obviously I know you want existing non gold to upgrade, but is it ok to buy another gold membership with new logon details etc.? Brian

  • Re: Have you seen this? Unbelievable

On number plates, I'm an optometrist and have been using W9 EYE for my last few cars (the 9 comes from the fact it's a 9-3 saab convertable) Anyone else with appropriate number plates? Brian

  • Re: Laptop about to die....advice please!

In hindsight everyone is an expert. Have you thought about two drives, connected with a RAID something so that they automatically duplicate themselves. With memory coming down in price this is a good way to protect your stuff without actually having to do anything (after it's set up). Cheers Brian

  • Cinema

Just back from Marbella, went into the local B&O dealer in Puerto Banus. They have the complete cinema set up, 3metre projection screen 4 belab 5s and some software they claim is theirs (not B&Os) to make everything work. They have servers with a massive library (no need for discs etc), and off course the backlit beo4 and shutters to exclude

  • Re: Serene Menu

Thanks everyone, challenge resolved, one satisfied customer. Set alarm as usual, turn auto power on, then switch off phone. Alarm will ring at appropriate time, whilst switched off, and it stays off. Handy if you need to keep your phone off for battery conservation or if you don't want to be contacted. Brian

  • Serene Menu

Hi In the Serene alarm menu, obtained through the applications menu, there is a choice of different alarms. There is an 'auto power' either on or off. I haven't tried it but if I switch auto power on (I think off is default), exactly what happens next? Brian

  • B&O Technology

When I was flying recently I noticed how Mr Airbus 320 had conveniently carved a hollow area in the seat tray which fitted perfectly my beosound 2. Obviously I had to ask my wife to hold my drinks!. How did they know future customers would appreciate this for a meaning other than it was designed for. Then I started thinking, are there any other areas

  • Re: Serene

I agree. I've had mine for about 6 months now with no problems. Unfortunately I did have keys in pocket one day and managed to mark the chrome close to the Samsung/B&O logos, which has really annoyed me. Otherwise, not a mark anywhere. I'm very impressed with the screen which cleans well and is completely scratch free. I have a rolex watch

  • Re: Back in a month

My last exams were over 27 years ago, yes thats how long I am qualified, Sometimes I wake up in a cold sweat thinking back to those days, and sometimes I dream I have failed my qualifying exams. Are there any specialists here who can diagnose my dreams and help me put them away for good? Brian
