try resetting the base as well as the handset To reset a Mark I Beocom 6000 press DOT 70009 it will ask you to confirm OK press centre button and phone will reset and a few seconds later the message “POWER ON To reset a BASE press DOT 70008 on the beocom 6000 it will ask you to confirm OK press centre button and base will reset and a few seconds

I have noticed this too, but no word from my dealer, also the MIC has lots of feedback Trip to the dealer, at £250 per handset i would expect more support Jon

Oh, btw if you do 9#9#9* INT then you get into the service menu, there is an option to change the colour set from Primary to Alternative and in the Technical Test option there is a cool Motion Sensor test.... Oh try it at you own risk....

well, I love this phone so much, design wise its right up there, but WTF is going on with the power adapter, cheap, usb connection and when in the wall socket it looks crap.. OK i know your not going to look at the plug socket as much as the phone it's self, but come on, I got mine in the Kitchen and the wall socket is on display see photo.

Picked up my beocom 5 today inc the speakerphone base and table/wall charger All I can say is NICE.......................... Jon

Peter I have been informed by the dealer supplying that it is compatiable with my existing BeoLine PSTN the flat black square one. Failing that its not compatible I would expect a full refund or something to be sorted out. £600 on 2 cordless phones without a base in this recession and hard times is not easly sniffed at.
