- Create one zone - Add the BS3200 and speakers to this zone - Double-click the BeoSound 5 AudioMaster from the Product Browser - Click on OK for an extra zone - Click on the Edit tab - Hide the extra 'Zone-1' from Zones That's it !

I have heard that there is a new version 3.59 out now, is that right?

Does this Battery Reset happen every time you press Power or did it just happen once. If you upgrade from an old firmware version the Battery level is reset.

If you ask him to export the configuration, this file will include custom logos, if he have used some of those. The exported file is also much more easy to import into the tool.

Just as small correction: the ranges are 0 to 31 and 0 to 64. If you are lucky these codes defined in the standard will work. Alternatively, you can right click on the configuration at the Welcome tab, and then select Export. This also includes any custom logos and graphics that may not be present on the other computer. To import the configuration, just click on Import and browse to the CTX file. Actually you can export and share logo templates and buttons the same way.

I own a BeoCenter 1 and a lot of the TV channels on my cable are now in 16:9 format. Unfortunately, the BC1 can't detect the WSS signal and switch to Format 2 automatically. If you get a new device it must be added to the TV. Then you can control it with Beo4. If you own a Beo5 you must also update the configuration ofthis to fit the new device in the TV. Alternatively you can choose to let the Beo5 control the device directly, but then you need to have the codes and do some editing.

The overlay commands are basicly the same as for Beo4, there can be a difference in the way Beo5 controls the playback functions. Example: Beo5 uses the 'CNTL_0' IR command to shift the PUC to Beo5 mode. If the command is followed by PLAY the PUC will interpretate this as a Select. With Beo4 you will have to wait 1.5 secs before a timeout activates
