That is the point of the STB-C for the Sky+. The TV controls the box through a separate wire with an IR blaster on this. This is how one can use Sky thoughout a link system without being in the main room. That is what I meant by Sky+ integrating with the Avant seamlessly. You would think it was part of the TV.

Tricky! Just had a scan through all the boxes listed and their cards and they all use the four colour buttons and then use GO + a number. Did your dealer tell you that this box worked? Is there a model number on the back? Does it do anything with the remote at all?

I thought that was no longer available in the UK? It is listed in the US STB-C - not sure about the UK.

You have lost me! Why will the G5 be a door stop? I have had mine for some time and the graphics are still as good as the day I bought it. I don't want to upgrade. I have upgraded disc space - I now have about 2TB - and RAM - 3.5GB. Much easier to do with my Mac than my old PC. In a few years time, I will probably replace it with the equivalent

Yes, and it is fantastic! Integrates perfectly both in the main room and in link rooms. Quite frankly, if you have this, I can see no reason to consider the HDR2. If you don't have Sky+ yet, do your best to get a Pace box - by far the best.

You can use a Beo4. You need to add Page to the List function. Once done, after pressing TEXT, press LIST and then scroll to PAGE and press Go. Then enter your page numbers.

I am using a stereo microscope - from Brunel microscopes , an MX3 - using a 10X eyepiece and a 6X objective. When used with the photo attachment, it magnifies a bit more - about 100X. I use a Nikon D70 and play with the image in Photoshop or Photoshop Elements . I reduce the quality a lot so the pictures are not too big to download. The depth of field
