We were sitting just level with the Leader of the Orchestra so the violins were quite prominent! It was however a splendid performance and extremely interesting to be that close - about 8 foot

Simplistically, V x I = W, so if you have a 240 V supply and produce 850W, you draw slightly more than 3 amps. I would use a 5A fuse!

Possible - yes. Sensible - no! It looks like the perfect solution but: 1. Except for a couple of prototypes, it is a US system and uses NTSC. 2. It disables the two way communication with the BL7000 so you will need to use a Beolink 1000. 3. Dolby Pro-Logic only.

The AV socket is RGB but the decoder, I think, is not. Have you downloaded the manuals? To use the sockets you have to assign them to whatever function you need - look in the user and reference manuals as this tells you how far better than I can! The software can be updated to 4.2 in your model and you can have a STB-C fitted - you will need to ask

Beovision 3 is a good one! Very cheap now for what you get. The 32" is a reboxed Avant and the 28" is even cheaper - though actually based on the BV1 chassis. The 28" tend to be very basic and if you look at one of these check they have the necessary modules fitted. The Beocenter 1 is quite sought after and is still rather expensive

It should do though you will need another remote. Best of luck. By the way, have you thought of an MX set? Much cheaper than a BV1 and essentially much the same.

Couple of points. You must make sure that the BV1 has the link module fitted or it won't work. The LS model is the one to get. The Avant does not have to be on to access the channels. As I said in the other thread, the Tivo does not seem to be covered in the STB list available here. Therefore working it via the B&O system would seem unlikely

These do seem to be a complete replica of the originals. When you first see them, they seem ridiculous devices but they really do work very well! Well done to STB brackets for making them available.
