I would ask Tim Jarman for an estimate on fixing the 5000 first. It is a better amplifier than the 5500 if truth be known - especially the pre-amplifier. The CD50 will work with the 5500 and ideed John is quite correct about it being supplied with the 5500 system. B&O late with a product release - who would believe it!

1. Yes! The part number is 3451564. 2. I would be very careful! Nothing abrasive. 3. You have lost me slightly here! I thought the two stands were completely different! 4. They are small bolts. I had a similar problem with a TV and just bought some new ones at a hardware store.

Obviously some Blu-ray discs are quite frankly poor - 300 seems to be a culprit. And some BBC HD broadcasts are very good - and they are. However to

The end of the IR blaster will light up - should be a pinky colour!

I really meant waiting to buy another make! I wouldn't hold my breath for B&O!

The Pace Sky+ codes should work. It certainly worked with my Amstrad (till it blew up!) Does the remote light flash on the Sky box when you use the Beo4? I take it that the Sky+ remote works fine? Try altering the position of the IR blaster. You can see if it is working by taking a picture with a digital camera.
