Hello Beoworlders, I have a Beocord 5500 which works fine, but I am missing the belt that runs the drawer in and out. It has apparently gone missing... Do you know where I can get a replacement part? -Søren

Hello Beoworlders, I am curious to hear your opinion about B&O recievers and amplifiers. What is your preferred choise, and why? Build quality/reliability? Sound quality? Various shortcomings? -Søren

I currently have a Beocord 5500, sounds great with some brand new TDK SA-90 tapes i bought from the UK. When I bought it 15 months ago, I thought that cassette recorders were too old-fashioned, though I listen a lot to vinyl. In the summer of last year, I bought the LP which became my all-time favourite record: Avenged Sevenfold's Self titled record

I have had virtually all the tangential tracking models, 4000, 4002, 4004, 8000, 8002, 5500, The 5500 is not well built but worked fine until I sold it. The 8000 and 8002 are nice machines, datalink remote is nice with MCP 5500. The 4002/4004 is very well built and somewhat easy to service, the 4000 is also wonderful, but it is truly a devil when it

I have had an old ITT amp after I destroyed my first B&O reciever, the Beomaster 2400-2 (dead output stage and old capacitors). It acually played very well through my S-45's, I regret selling it.
