Thanks for this post Joe. I doubt I will ever go inside the factory in Czech, so it was interesting to hear what you had to say. I think it's very good that the Czech factory compete with Struer and can understand why this happens.

As already mentioned, BL9s will be your best solution in my opinion, also baring in mind the size of you room. I think it goes without saying that BL5s would work brilliantly in such a large room, but I appreciate that these speakers are unfortunately not affordable to everyone.

linder: It will be about 168000 euros. I do remind you the title of this thread is 'Value for money!'

linder: You are doing a bang up job. Love the beano remark! Ohhh I get the Beano joke now How embarrassing! Sorry, it has been a long day.

Nice to see you online again Andy

Hi Mikael, BeoLab 6000s were a great choice! I too look forward to seeing some photos.

Thanks for that Craig. I had planned to get the BV3 over the Avant due to its size, but I wanted to know if the picture of the Avant was better than the BV3. I'm now on the look out for a BV3 32 then. Final question, where exactly are the speakers on the BV3?
-
Thanks for your replies. Does this mean the picture of the BV3 28 is not as good as the BV3 32?

Dear all BeoWorlders, The need for a new TV in the house is required. This will be for a modest sized bedroom. I have decided that I would either like to have a BeoVision 3 32 or a BeoVision Avant 32, and I am interested to hear your comments between these two B&O CRTs and to know which you would choose. Which speakers would you advise to pair up

I didn't know of Alan Hull, so thanks for mentioning Peter. I downloaded the song and really enjoyed it. I shall see if I can find a good album. Currently listening to Coldplay - Amesterdam. This is their best song in my opinion.
