Agree with Peter's instructions. I think what you're seeing is the PC2 has taken over as master, or partially so... I recall running into this. If it is difficult to unplug everything, at least unplug the PC2 and your master, then plug in the master and wait a few minutes BEFORE plugging in the PC2. Obviously, it would be better to power everything

amunk: Hi, Excuse me for my ignorance but what can be achieved with this solution? As I read it I can connect som third-party equipment to the Beolink Active. Can the audio for this source then be distributed on the Masterlink? Thanks in advance. Regards, Anders This does not distribute audio on ML, but it does allow one to share one's ML'd

Thanks Beoaus! I will be placing my order tomorrow Stan

I have had both BL1 and BL4000 for a few years. I completely agree with Peter. I too have no experience with the "new" BL4000. It would be a shame if "astrauch" was correct (i.e. that the BS1 sound better than the "new" BL4000). Stan

Assuming you have a Mac + BM Link + BeoPort, yes, you can zap around iTunes with Beo4 (not sure about FrontRow). Stan

soundproof: [snip] I suspect that with SDK you can emulate the B&O frequencies without using add-on hardware ... SDK apps will change the landscape totally when it comes to interacting with hardware! [snip] How does a software SDK allow an RF device to emulate IR? This sounds really cool, but I don't get it. Stan

Karel Uyttendaele: Struer needs a dictator in the Software Engineering department!!! It's probably the only way to get things done on time... When are these engineers gonna get their act together and product some quality code???? In my experience, this is when customers get hit with crappy software. The dictator says "ship it!" so the

Thanks again, Stefan. This is most helpful. Stan

Thanks to all, these answers are very helpful. Let's say, I have a BS9000 (MkIII, N.Music), BeoPort and BL3500. I was considering a pre-owned BS3000... If I set the BS3000 to option 0 (assuming it's not smart enough to be the 2nd audiomaster), and BS9000 to option 6, then would the BL3500 only see the BS3000? or would LINK-CD control the BS9000
